Professional Mr Srinivasan K Swamy is the Chairman & Managing Director of R K SWAMY BBDO Private Limited, India. In addition to General Advertising, the Company has Specialist Divisions such as Media Direction, Pharma Direction, HR Direction, Social Rural Direction & Digital Direction. Mr Swamy is also the Managing Director of Hansa Vision Pvt Ltd which offers TV content creation, out of Home advertising (Hansa OutSell), Hansa Activation & Events, Hansa MedCell, Hansa InfoSource, Hansa LoginAds etc. Mr Swamy is serving the 3rd term as the President of Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), an august body that takes care of the interest of advertising agencies. He is the Chairman for the industry joint body relating to TV broadcasters and advertising agencies – the IBF-AAAI Joint Working Committee – for four years running. He is the Vice President of Confederation of Asian Advertising Agency Associations. He is also a Governing Council member of the Advertising Standards Council of India. Mr Swamy is a Past President of Madras Management Association. He has been elected as Vice President of AIMA for the year 2006-07. |

Social Service Mr Swamy has been actively involved in the running of Hindu Mission Hospital at Chennai for over 18 years now, the last 7 years as its President. The 190 bed, multi-disciplined hospital has grown in stature and reputation, for serving the poor and needy, as well as through its rural mobile clinics serving over 2,00,000 people every year. For over 8 years, Mr Swamy as Vice Chairman of Valluvar Gurukulam Society is involved in running schools for poor girls, whose parents have never entered the portals of a school in their youthful days. Currently 2200 students study in the schools run by this society and the schools have been declaring excellent results, despite the unimpressive economic background of the students. |
