Mrs. Rajalakshmi and 87 Years came with complaints that she has not been walking for the past five years. She has to depend upon others to take her to toilet, bathroom and for her other daily needs.

Medicines, Physiotherepy were of no use to her. Hence, it was decided to replace her knee joint.

Total Knee replacement Surgery was done by Dr. S.SaravanaKumar under the expert supervision of Dr. Dhanapal. Dr.J.Srinivasan was the anaesthetist.

Indian made prosthesis was fit into the right knee joint.

Now the patient is pain free and able to stand and walk few steps without much pain.

The total cost of the above surgery is Rs.75,000/- which is only half the cost when compared toany other hospital all over India.
